SAN FRANCISCO — On Novem­ber 24, 2009, at 6 PM, I was tak­ing pic­tures of the Embar­cadero Cen­ter Christ­mas light­ing from Pier 14 con­crete walk­way jut­ting 150 yards out into Bay. I shot the pic­tures with a Can­non SD 970 IS 12.1 MP, using a tri­pod. “Blue moon” was not seen on LED screen by either me or my com­pan­ion. A sec­ond shot was taken 46 sec­onds after blue moon pic­ture and the blue moon is gone.

We never saw the “blue moon” until we looked at the pic­ture. Since we didn’t see it until view­ing print­out no motion was observed.

LOS ANGELES –I was stand­ing out­side hav­ing a cig­a­rette on Novem­ber 30, 2009, when I noticed a sil­ver children’s bal­loon, but this object had much more mass to it and wasn’t fly­ing like a bal­loon. “It def­i­nitely wasn’t float­ing in the wind, but seemed to be mov­ing in a pur­pose­ful tra­jec­tory”. It was a trape­zoidal shaped sil­ver object about the size of a small car at 1500 feet mov­ing west at 90 mph. I couldn’t tell if it had lights or if the flashes were from the reflec­tion of the sun­light. The object had no con­trol sur­faces or rotors. No vis­i­ble means of propul­sion. The object was spin­ning hor­i­zon­tally and emit­ted no noise. There was no wind on the ground and am unsure what the winds were at 1500 feet. The whole event lasted about 3–4 min­utes.
