UFO Researcher Cosmonaut Popovitch Dies
“A great, legendary Soviet cosmonaut, the first Ukrainian cosmonaut, General Pavel Popovich has passed away five days short of his 80th birthday.

He was a member of the first ever “Gagarin” team of cosmonauts and was Number “Four” cosmonaut in the history of manned space flights.” He is best known for a space first — piloting one of two manned satellites in 1962, that orbited the Earth at the same time. In 1974, he commanded Soyuz 14 space flight. He was also an important person in the history of Soviet Ufology, and greatly helped promote UFO research.
